The missions of the cabinet are :
●to keep the minister informed on the general activities of the Ministry, to
translate and transmit his directives and ensure their execution,
●to ensure the liaison and the coordination between the different organs of the
Ministry,
●to ensure the relations with the official organisms, the national organizations
and the press, and
●to supervise, to control and follow-up the activities of the structures that
are attached directly to the minister.

The Central Mail Office
The
Central Mail Office is mainly in charge of :
●the
reception, the dispatching and registration of the mail, and
●the
ventilation and the follow-up of the mail.
The Central Mail Office is managed by a head of service of central
administration.

The Office of Information and Public
Relations
The Office of Information and Public Relations, is in charge mainly
of :
●the
establishment and the organization of relations with information organs,
●the
gathering, the analysis and the diffusion of press information related
to the activities of the Ministry, and
●promoting
communication within the Ministry,
fulfilling public relations activities.
The Office of Information and Public Relations is managed by a member of
the cabinet.

The Office of the Follow-up of the Decisions of the Council of Ministers, Restrained Ministers Council, Inter-ministerial Councils and the Relations with the Chamber of Representatives
The Office of the Follow-up of the
Decisions of the Council of Ministers, Restrained Ministers Councill,
Inter-ministerial Councils and the Relations with the Chamber of
Representatives is in charge mainly of :
●the
preparation of the files related to the council of ministers and the
chamber of representatives,
the follow-up of the implementation of the decisions of the council of
ministers related to the activities of the Ministry and its depending
institutions, and
●the
establishment of periodical reports on the application of these
decisions.
●The
Office of the Follow-up of the Decisions of the Counsel of Ministers,
Restrained Ministers Counsel, Inter-ministerial Counsels and the
Relations with the Chamber of Representatives is managed by a member of
the cabinet.

The Office of the Relationships with the
Organizations and Associations dealing with Education
The Office of the Relationships with the Organizations and
Associations dealing with Education is in charge mainly of :
●the
follow-up of the files related to the organizations and associations
dealing with education, and
the establishment of periodical reports on the activities of these
organizations.
●The Office of
the Relationships with the Organizations and Associations dealing with
Education is managed by a member of the cabinet.

The Office of Security and Permanency
The Office of Security and Permanency is in charge mainly of :
●the management of internal security matters of the Ministry, and
●ensuring and organizing the permanency of the service out of office
hours.
The Office of Security and Permanency is managed by a head of service of
the central administration.

The Office of the Relations with the
Citizen
The Office of the Relations with the Citizen is in charge mainly of
:
●welcoming the citizens and taking in their requests and
instructing these requests in collaboration with the concerned services,
in order to find the appropriate solutions,
●replying to the citizens either directly or by mail,
●informing the citizens on the administrative procedures and
formalities related to the delivery of all services either directly of
by phone,
●centralizing and studying the files send by the administrative
mediator assuring the coordination between the different services of the
Ministry in order to find the adequate solutions, and
●detecting, via a deep analysis of the request of the citizens,
the problems and anomalies of administrative procedures and propose the
appropriate reforms.
The responsible of the office of the relations with the citizen is named
according to the terms of the article 5 of decree n° 93-1549 dated July
26th 1993.

The Office of International Cooperation
The Office of International Cooperation coordinates the relations of
the Ministry, and depending structures abroad under the direct authority
of the minister.
The Office of International Cooperation is in charge mainly of :
●coordinating
the activities of the Ministry and its depending institutions with the
services concerned with international cooperation,
●organizing,
education wise, the relations with the regional and international
organizations and cooperation actions with foreign countries and
ensuring their follow-up,
●consolidating
the cooperation in education with countries of the Maghreb, and
●ensuring
the follow-up of cooperation files.
The Office of International Cooperation is managed by a director of
central administration attended by a manager in charge of the
international cooperation and a manager in charge of the Maghrebi and
Arab cooperation.

The Automotive Park Office
The Automotive Park Office is in charge of the management and the
control of the automotive park. It is managed by a head of service of
central administration.

The Office of Computing Services
The
Office of Computing Services has a mission of studying and proposing all
measures necessary for the improvement and the rationalization of the
use of the computing facilities in the services of the Ministry.
The Office of Computing Services is in charge mainly of :
●developing the use of the computer within the administration by
elaborating, realizing and following-up of the computing development
plan of the Ministry,
●ensuring the exploitation and the maintenance of all computing
equipment and software,
●defining and following the policy of the Ministry in matters of
computing networks designed to interconnect the different central and
regional structures of the Ministry, and
●conducting and supervising the development of information systems.
The Office of Computing Services is managed by a director of central
administration.
the Office of Computing Services consists of two subdirectorates :
*The Subdirectorate of
Studies and Development, consisting of two services :
- the service of studies, and
- the service of development.
*The Subdirectorate of
Maintenance and Operations, consisting of two services :
- the service of maintenance,
- the service of operations.

The Office of Studies, Planning and
Programming
The Office of Studies, Planning and Programming proceed to the
gathering of information and statistics related to the activities of the
Ministry of education and the planning of the policy of the Ministry.
The Office of Studies, Planning and Programming is in charge mainly of :
●producing, centralizing, analyzing and diffusing statistics of
the Ministry,
●elaborating the development plan of the education sector, in
collaboration with the concerned departments of the Ministry,
●ensuring the follow-up of the execution of the development plan
of the education sector,
●participating to the
preparation of the budget of the education sector and preparing, yearly,
with the concerned departments, the academic year,
●elaborating all studies related to education in relation with the
economy of the country,
●elaborating and updating the school map, analyzing the capacity
in the institutions of basic education and secondary education and
studying the modes and ways allowing a rational distribution of means
between the institutions,
●conceiving and exploiting projection models related to the needs
of basic education and secondary education,
●realizing forecast studies related to the number of students and
to the needs in teachers and classes for the different cycles of
education.
The Office of Studies, Planning and Programming is managed by a director
of central administration.
The office is composed by two subdirectorates :
*the
Subdirectorate of Studies and Planning consisting of :
- the studies
services, and
- the planning
services,
*the
Subdirectorate of Statistics, consisting of :
- the service of the
statistics of the first cycle of basic education, and
- the service of
statistics of the second cycle of basic education and secondary
education.

The Office of Regional Directorates
Coordination
The Office of Regional Directorates Coordination is in charge of the
coordination between the regional directoratess of education and between
the regional directorates and the central administration services as
well.
Its is in charge, in collaboration with the concerned departments of the
Ministry, to work mainly towards :
●the full use of human and material means at the disposal of the
regional departments,
●the rationalization and the harmonization of their working
methods and
●the facilitation of the relations of the regional directoratess
with the central services of the Ministry and the different actors in
the action field of the Ministry.
The Office of Regional Directorates Coordination is managed by a general
director of the central administration or by a member of the cabinet.
